praktijk cases Flight Safety
Op
17 februari 2005 om 20:00u zullen Yvonne Somers en Ben Verloop weer een
AOPA Seminar in a box vliegveiligheid avond presenteren. Middels een aantal
korte video's willen we een discussie oproepen over wat er fout gaat in
de video, wat jij zou doen en wat jij niet zou doen. Doel van de avond is
om elkaars ervaringen te delen en hier van te leren. De avond is zeer nuttig
voor zowel de beginnende leerling als de oude rot. We verwachten weer een
hoge opkomst met af en toe heftige discussies !
De
volgende scenes zullen vertoond en besproken worden:
- The Benefit Concert—Runway
Incursions: provokes discussion of the hazards of inadequate preflight
planning and preparation for flight in Class B airspace.
- The Guy's Day Out—Wind
Shear: informs pilots of the hazards of flight in wind-shear conditions.
- The Family Emergency—Icing:
informs pilots of the hazards of attempting flight in potential icing
conditions in aircraft not certified for such operations.
- Old Dogs and New
Tricks—Charting—Navigation Complacency: informs pilots of
the hazards of using out-of-date charts and of direct point-to-point
navigation without benefit of present position fixes.
- Night Flight—Runway
Incursion: informs pilots of the hazards of disorientation during aircraft
ground operations.
- Executive Decision—Fuel
Management: informs pilots of the hazards of fuel starvation/exhaustion
through mismanagement.
